"Now, in theater, you have a chance to make those moments more probable, with repetition. Despite a lot of popular understanding about film, you do take after take till you get it right- you don’t, you don’t. You have two or three go’s. Time and money demand that you move on. So, that lightening in a bottle factor is, you know, you got two or three go’s. And whatever happens in that moment, whatever disappointment - it’s in the can. Or that extraordinary thing that you might never be able to do again - that’s in the can. And there’s nothing more thrilling than that."
